1. The service
SMSmeu is a platform that provides temporary virtual numbers for receiving SMS verification messages (codes) from third-party services. By purchasing, the user acquires the right to temporarily use a number to receive a code, within the time window shown on the order.
The service does not provide a physical SIM, a personal phone line or a phone plan, and is not intended for continuous personal communication.
2. Use and signup
A purchase can be made quickly, with no mandatory signup, following the code right on the order screen. Creating an account is optional and lets you review your order history.
The user is responsible for keeping their access credentials confidential, when an account exists, and for all activity carried out through it.
3. Responsible and legitimate use
The user agrees to use SMSmeu only for legitimate purposes and in compliance with applicable law and with the terms of use of the third-party platforms where the number is used.
The temporary number is meant to protect the privacy of your personal number during verifications. It must not be used for fraud, spam, creating accounts in violation of platform rules, or any unlawful activity.
4. Card payment
Payment is made by card, as a one-time charge, with no subscription or recurring fee. The number is released automatically after the payment is confirmed. Prices are shown at the time of purchase and may vary by service, country and availability.
5. Delivery and timing
After payment is confirmed, the virtual number is released and the code received is shown on the order screen, in real time. Each order states the time window for receiving the SMS. The number is temporary and may expire after the indicated period.
6. Refunds as balance
The number is released immediately after payment is confirmed (immediate-execution digital content). Because of this nature, codes actually received are non-refundable.
If the code is not received within the time window (due to unavailability or refusal by the third-party service), the amount is returned automatically as balance (credit) on the user’s platform account. This balance never expires, is for exclusive use to buy new numbers and is not a refund back to the card or a bank account. Details in the Refund policy.
Check the correct service and country before completing the purchase. By buying, the user agrees that any applicable return is issued as platform balance, under the terms described here.
7. Availability
Number availability varies by country and service and depends on external providers. SMSmeu does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may, at any time, adjust its catalog, prices and stock.
8. Prohibited conduct
- Using the service for fraud, scams, phishing or improperly obtaining third-party data;
- Sending spam or unauthorized bulk messages;
- Violating the terms of the platforms where the number is used;
- Reselling the service without authorization;
- Attempting to bypass security, payment or stock mechanisms.
Non-compliance may result in suspension of access and cancellation of orders, without prejudice to applicable legal measures.
9. Limitation of liability
SMSmeu acts as an intermediary in providing temporary numbers and is not responsible for the content of the SMS received, for decisions by third-party platforms (such as blocks or verification refusals), nor for the use the user makes of the number, which is their sole responsibility.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated at any time. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the last-updated date. Continued use of the service after changes implies agreement with the new terms.
