Verify Instagram without a number: the checkpoint
Instagram lets you sign up with an email, but it often asks for phone confirmation — especially on new accounts. You can pass it with a temporary virtual number instead of your personal SIM. Here is how.
When Instagram asks for a phone number
Instagram may request phone confirmation on sign-up or when an account looks new or automated. A virtual number lets you complete it without linking your personal phone to the profile.
Step 1 — Get a virtual number for Instagram
Choose Instagram on the buy page and pay by card. You receive a private number able to get the SMS. Free public numbers are usually already registered on Instagram and get rejected.
Step 2 — Enter it during sign-up or in settings
Put the virtual number where Instagram asks for a phone, and request the SMS code.
Step 3 — Read the code on screen
The code appears on the order screen in real time. Type it into Instagram to confirm the account.
FAQ
Can I create more than one Instagram account this way?
Use a fresh number per account — reusing one can trigger "number already in use".
Why do free Instagram numbers fail?
They are public and already used on Instagram, so the app rejects them. A private number avoids it.
